DerWhite's

"What's Wrong with These Pictures........?

1. & 2. The images that started it all!

This image was the first "What's Wrong with This Picture"! Posted on April 1, 2005,
Viewers  were  asked  to  comment on  what  they saw in the image. It generated 50+ emails
with all sorts of explanations and theories. One of the best was:  "Car is set up for driver with
missing right foot/leg, probably with automatic tranny."
There were a number of other funny
explanations. The real answer is that the image originally was of a right hand drive car that
had been digitally reversed. Below is how the image originally appeared.

From this perspective, eveything looks normal for a Right Hand Drive 356-B Porsche.

3. The 2nd "What's Wrong with this Picture" showed a lady stepping into a 356 Convertible.

The sidebar explanation asks why would she be
getting into a Convertible with the top down when
it was raining. "Wouldn't it be wet inside the car?"
The more one looks at this picture the less sense
it makes. The people in the crowd standing around
in the background have umbrellas. Obviously, its
raining. A guy is holding an umbrella for the young
woman getting ready to step into the car. The
Convertible's top is down. IT WOULD BE WET
  INSIDE THE CAR!!!
So why is she getting into the
  car?  Go Figure!

The car is sitting in the sun, and the little white objects are
reflections
of the sunlight off the small pieces of mirror glued to the car onto the
 fence in the background!
